The Tampa Arts Directory will organize the location and contact information of Tampa’s arts and culture spaces in the form of an online database and clickable map. This work will be done in three phases: 1) research & information gathering 2) technical design and build out 3) community outreach and storytelling.
We have a match! The Frank E. Duckwall Foundation has agreed to match this successful campaign with a donation of $10,000. This commitment enables us to begin assembling the project team and data.
According for the Americans For the Arts recent Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 study commissioned by the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, the arts have an immense impact on Tampa's economy and infrastructure
Tampa Arts Alliance advances the arts in Tampa by providing foundational support to the arts ecosystem. We focus on identifying community stakeholders, encouraging the development of spaces for artists to live, work and display, fostering commerce in the arts industry, and promoting Tampa as a vibrant city of the arts.
The Tampa Arts Alliance is a public charity recognized as a tax exempt organization by the IRS under section 501 (C)(3). The Tampa Arts Alliance meets all requirements specified by the Florida Solicitation of Contributions act.
