Artspace Tampa Community Fundraiser
Please join us at Crowbar for a night of art and music in support of making the Artspace Tampa building a reality!
$10 tickets (tickets available at the door; pre-sale helps us plan)

A critical boost for our arts scene would be affordable space for diverse artists in various disciplines to be able to continue to live and work in Tampa as the city grows. The Tampa Arts Alliance has contracted with national developer Artspace Projects to create affordable live/work spaces for artists. The initiative intends to construct an independent building that will always stay affordable as the city grows (more info at www.artspacetampa.com)
Preliminary plans envision a facility with over 60 affordable live/work units and gallery space on E. 3rd Avenue, Ybor City, land generously allocated for this project by a local developer. The majority of construction costs will be subsidized by federal housing tax credits, but we must first get to that stage by completing architectural and engineering plans required to gain site control. We need your immediate support.
